Think of Christmas and you think of music. Think of Italian tenors and you think of Pavarotti. What could be better than a disc that combines the two?

This selection of Christmas songs was recorded in the 1970s when Pavarotti was at his prime and his voice particularly beautiful, and re-mastered in 2005.

If you’re looking for ‘Frosty the Snowman’ or ‘Jingle Bells’ this is not the album for you. It includes a lovely selection of opera, classical, and well-known carols sung in an operatic arrangement.

We listen to this album while putting up our Christmas decorations. It’s become part of our Christmas traditions. Pavarotti’s voice plus Italian lyrics make it very special. There’s just nothing else quite like it.

So if you want some Italian Christmas music to add atmosphere and become part of your own family’s Christmas traditions, don’t miss this one.
