About Us

We are Mogsy and Richard, and we love Italy!

This website was originally written by Cath and Mike, an English couple who lived in Italy for over 15 years. We have now taken over the site, and will continue to write about all things Italian!

We have both visited Italy many times, including trips to Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Bologna, and Milan, to name a few.

We currently live on Italy's doorstep, in Malta, which is just off the south coast of Sicily, so we are very familiar with most aspects of Italian travel, such as trains, airports, the currency and the lifestyle.

Before moving to Malta we spent 12 years in Spain, on the Costa Blanca.

About Us

We are keen runners, and have taken part in the Milan marathon and a swimrun event in Emilia-Romagna. We recently took part in a half marathon through the prosecco-making region of Valdobbiadene in the north of Italy.

Mogsy started running in her 40´s, and has run many  marathons, triathlons and an ultra marathon in places as far apart as New York, London, Hawaii and Sevilla, Spain, to name but a few!  Her work has been in the sports industry with England Athletics, in the coach education sector.

Richard is in his 60's, a retired dentist, and had only run 5k when he met Mogsy 10 years ago. He has now completed his 7th marathon, in Milan.
