Born in Treviso, part of Italy’s Veneto region, Laura Zavan brings to these recipes inspiration from both the northern Veneto and from southern Italy, where she spends her summers.
The unusual thing about this book, and the reason we recommend it, is that it guides you carefully through the whole process, presenting images of all the ingredients and step by step photographs of every part of the process.
The result is that this is more like a complete cookery course than most Italian cook books.
